Serving the Spryfield and Sambro Loop area, our Community Cupboard provides a small amount of food, hygiene and infant care items each month to community members.
How it Works:
- Register with the Chebucto Family Centre, providing proof of current address
- Come in once a month for a bag of food
- provides food to help get through 1-2 days, typically has food that can be used to make a full meal as well as a few snacks
- Come in once a month for hygiene products
- toilet paper
- toothbrushes
- toothpaste
- floss
- soap
- deodorant
- shampoo
- feminine hygiene (tampons or pads)
- Come in twice per month for infant care items
- 10 diapers
- small pack of wipes
- small diaper cream (if available)
- baby shampoo/soap (if available)
